My name is Jessica, and I have struggled with infertility for 6 years. Back in early 2018 I was diagnosed with pcos. Right away my doctor went to work trying to make my dreams come true. Since I wasn’t ovulating on my own she decided to start me on clomid. I did three rounds of clomid and each round I still didn’t ovulate. She then decided to put me on another medicine called fermera. I did three rounds with fermera and ovulated each time but never conceived. It was at that point we decided it was time to move on to a specialist. In 2020 during peak covid time we started to see our ivf doctor. She discussed with us, that doing a medicated cycle with an iui will be the next best option. My husband also got tested and discovered nothing was wrong with him. So we had high hopes for iui. Again we did four rounds, I ovulated each time and each time never got pregnant. In early 2022 we decided it was time to try ivf. So we did. By may 2022 we perform our first embyro transfer. It was successful but unfortunately the pregnancy wasn’t viable as it was ectopic. My doctor had to perform emergency surgery to remove the pregnancy and my right fallopian tube. We were devastated and heartbroken. In seven short weeks had gone from beyond happy and joy to completely broken. After a few months of a break we decided to try again. Unfortunately our next transfer ended in an early miscarriage. We are lost with words. We have exhausted all of our funds. We spent what we had left on a few more test that told us that we need an extra day of progesterone before doing our transfer. While this is good news, we can not do another transfer without a little help. We are asking our friends and family, this community for a little kindness to help us finally make our dreams come true.
